Hello Board - In my kiosk I would like to show a different logo on boot and not show any of the behind the scene terminal sessions that are occurring when the login/boot up takes place. Please assist.

Tnx

remove usplash and install splashy
http://splashy.alioth.debian.org/wiki/
I've never used splashy. This is just something I googled.

edit /etc/default/grub and make this line read:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet"
