It's basically an XML file that describes and labels all controls on each screen.
Example snippet:
Code:
<translation> <welcome> <installbutton> <en_GB.UTF-8>INSTALL</en_GB.UTF-8> </installbutton> <advancedbutton> <en_GB.UTF-8>Advanced</en_GB.UTF-8> </advancedbutton> <welcomelabel> <en_GB.UTF-8>Welcome to the EB4 installer</en_GB.UTF-8> </welcomelabel> </welcome> <messages> <quit> <en_GB.UTF-8>Do you really wish to cancel and close the installer?</en_GB.UTF-8> </quit> <uiloadfail> <en_GB.UTF-8>Failed to load the User Interface.</en_GB.UTF-8> </uiloadfail> </messages> </translation>
It would probably take a day ( all day ) or a couple of days ( doing odd hours ) to translate it. We'll only need the translators in a 2-3 weeks when the installer is finished.
Steve.
