It's new version is good. Firefox 3.5 is more than twice as fast as Firefox 3, and ten times as fast as Firefox 2.* or below versions. It's feature are as below: - awesome toolbar - 1 click bookmarking - super speed - customization - instant email id - session restore - anti-phishing and anti-malware. Enjoy firefox 3.5.

i'm using 'A web browser 3.5'. this was the only available browser listed on the program list. one of the issues that i'm having is that i have to turn on the history/cookies every time i open the browser. for some reason it won't save my settings. is anyone else experiencing this?

is there an official build of firefox 3.5?
Yea, you can just go out to mozilla.com if you want to download it straight from them.

i'm super nub. how do you install it after extracting the tar file?
technically you dont install anything, what you do is you open up the folder and click on the file that simply says firefox and run it, and thats it you should be running the new firefox, if you want a menu icon you go to system>preferences>main menu, go down to the internet section, click on the button that says "new item" then a window should pop up, for the name simply put firefox and for the command, click on browse and find the firefox file in the folder you extracted from the tar file, and thats it, youll have a menu icon for firefox.

I like this version's porn mode privacy feature. Firefox 3.5 introduces a private browsing option–often called a “porn mode” and usually touted by browser companies as having many other uses, such as letting you hide the holiday shopping you’re doing for your family or borrow a friend’s browser without messing up his or her history.

I tried running Firefox 3.6, and it's telling me I need to upgrade to version 10 of Adobe Flash, but it doesn't seem to be working. Which do I need to download - the .tar.gz, .deb, or APT? the APT it doesn't know how to open. The .deb failed to install. Suggestions?
