 Post subject: How to dispable sccreen resolution selection

eeePC model: 1005HA
Aurora version: NBR 3.0.1
If I select anything but the right resolution on the menu, get a garbled screen (even on reoot) and must exit to shell and delete stuff.

Is there a way to disable the resolutions menu - or at least limit the possible selections?
