I have an ASUS 1000he in double boot with XP and EEEbuntu base 3. When I log onto Linux, the system doesn't connect to the wi-fi. To make it start, I have to restart and then it works. Any idea about what I can do to solve this thing.

Yesterday I tried the fix and today I will tell you if it worked. It was really hard to find the thread you mentioned because the search engine of the forum didn't like my keywords, succh asi wi-fi deeming them too common to be searched. I found it through Google.
