where can i get the latest version and when will the new aurora be released. do not suggest the torrent site. it is rare that any aurora will ever show up on that list. i was able to get bata 4 once... i happened to visit the site on the day it was actually there. i "will not" "stalk" a web site hoping and waiting for a file to be there. i have far better and greater things to do with my life then park my brain on some weak website to get some iso image that might be there "some day"... aurora is not made of pure life giving energy and thus is not worth hunting down for the lame purpose of trying the latest bug ridden bata ...
what i have used of the bata version was ok except for the mouse pointer vanishing repeatedly until i finally had to restart the system just to get it back again. also, it failed to install on my SD card.. installation on the ssd worked once... and only once...
honestly... i will not work at hunting this down. i would not even mind trying another bata if it wasn't for the fact that i am forced into "stalking" a web site for a chance that the iso image may show up some day if i am diligent and keep my eyes on the "list"...

I can arrange for you to download it from my server if you really want it again but I think you already have version 1. Nothing newer has been added. It is considerably out of date - my ISO is dated 11 February 2010.

It keeps on failing to install on my 701 EEE so probably the same for you. I got it to install once and it was really cool for about three months then crashed and refuses to reinstall.

Who knows when there will be any updates, or even IF there will be any updates.
And there doesn't seem to be much of anything else around that will work under the 701's limitations. Puppy is too limited and ubuntu/Fedora/many others just refuse to install or use up all the space because they're bloated. Even Debian messes up the system.
