I'm running EB4 on my 1005PE, trying to get my mic working in Skype. I can't find any sound preferences in the gnome System > Preferences, or anywhere else. I've seen people refer to "multimedia selector" settings, and I'm generally familiar with an audio mixer that can be added to the gnome panel, but I can't find any of this on my system. Any ideas? Thanks!
We are having an ongoing conversation about getting the microphone working in a couple of threads in Multimedia Video/Audio and Codecs Subforums: Audio Issues I am having problems with the microphone under PulseAudio, which is used by Skype, but on my HP Mini-note 2133.
The problem turned out to be that the microphone was not the fallback input device. Instead PulseAudio had selected the monitor of the output! The summary is in one of the threads mentioned above http://forums.auroraos.org/viewtopic.php?p=31075#p31075.
