After some search on the Net and trial&errors, I find a way to associate the Window key to the LXDE menu.
Procedure:
Quote:
1. In terminal, sudo leafpad ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml 2. In leafpad, look for <keybind key="C-Escape"> and replace it with <keybind key="Super_L">; save the file. 3. In terminal, openbox --reconfigure <done>
Now you can simply press the Window key to bring up the main menu, Esc key to hide it. (Does any know how to use the Window key to hide the menu?)
You can also duplicate the <keybind > ... </keybind> section (5 lines in total) and use both Ctrl-Esc and Window key to activate the menu.
Side effect:
Quote:
For shortcuts which use the Window key, you will see the action AND the main menu at the same time. For example, Window-E for PCmanFM, you'll see both the main menu and PCmanFM appear.
I disable multiple workspace, so I don't know how this modification will affect W-F1 ~ W-F4 in the setting file.
FYI, the affect key-bindings are W-d (toggle desktop), W-r (Run command, same as A-F2), W-e for PCmanFM, and the 4 workspace switchers above.
