Hi,
My firefox browser has been my bugbear for a while. So a few months ago I tried the Epiphany browser (gecko) and I love it. So fast compared to firefox.
Now I want to unistall firefox, but I get a warning from synaptec about also needing to remove firefox-3.0-branding and firefox-3.0-gnome-support.
Is it safe to do this, i.e. it won't break my Gnome desktop will it? Also does Epiphany have any dependency on FIrefox behind the scenes?

Those are support files for firefox, including the firefox logo (branding) and gnome integration bits (hotkeys). There's no problems removing them. As far as I can tell, Epiphany does not depend in any way on FF.
