I'm running the NBR version right now. However, I've come to the conclusion that the whole netbook interface is kind of pointless, as well as blocking usage of Compiz.

I know how to disable the NBR interface, that's easy. What I don't know how to do is: get the desktop working again, and getting the Nautilus sidebar to have both a Desktop and Home option, rather then just the Desktop entry that takes you to your home folder.

Well, I found the "show_desktop" option in Gconf-editor. So now I have a desktop... only it's my entire home folder that's being drawn there. Maybe this is a good thing, but I'd I'd still like to know how to separate the two.
