eeePC model: 1005HA
Aurora version: NBR 3.0.1
I have NBR 3.01 on a USB stick. When I boot with it, I can't get either the wired or wireless NIC to work. ifconfig only shows pan0 and the loopback adapter. The wireless adapter shows active. (Blue light is on and eeePCtray shows it on).

I have created a wired and wireless NIC.

When I run sudo iwlist scanning, I get the error:

pan0: Interface does not support scanning.

Any ideas what I am missing?

Forgot to mention that the model is a 1005HA.

Here is some output from diagnostic commands recommended in another post:

1005HA is newer than the kernel used in Eeebuntu 3.0. Thus, neither of the adapters, LAN or WAN, is supported. You'll need an updated kernel to properly use either. Obviously this is a problem without internet access. You'll have to download the proper deb files to USB drive from a different computer, then install them on the 1005HA.

Unless something's changed that I'm unaware of.

1005HA requires at least the 2.6.30-generic kernel.
