Hi everyone. After updating eeebuntu on my 901 I started having problems with resolution. During booting and on login screen is everything ok, but after logging in the resolution of desktop keeps changing to 800x600. I change it manually to 1024x600 every time but after restart it is back to 800x600. Is there way to change default starting resolution or fix this somehow? It is quite annoying to change resolution after every start and I do not want to reinstall the system.

How are you changing it, using the display preferences or the tray icon? The tray icon overrides the display preference, change it there.

You are right of course I was changing it in display preferences. After I changed in tray everything is back to normal. Thank you very much for fast response.

This fix worked for me too. My issue was the pull-down menu for the screen resolution no longer shows the choices. What I did was keep right clicking the tray icon, and each time I did that the screen resolution changed. There must be a way to change this in a config file, no? Otherwise, EEEBuntu 3 really has worked out for me, Thanks! GT
