Installed EEEbuntu 3.0 standard on my EEE 900.

The little blue network light is on.

I activated the driver in the hardware driver tab.

But where do I go to find a list of wireless networks or whatever it is I need to do to actually connect to a network???

I've had Ubuntu on my desktop for a few years, never had a problem with it. It always just connected automatically...


Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

you need to find the icon in the panel on the top of your screen for the network manager and it should list all your networks in range.

sorry revive an old thread.. but I am ripping my hair out trying to figure out the same thing.

I am running an eee pc 701 series and cannot find the icon to manage my wireless for the life of me. I believe at one point I may have hoverred over it (I saw wifi connections flash on my screen for about one second) or maybe I am just seeing things.
