Another question. The home or start key on my 701 doesn't do anything on eeebunto 3.0 standard. How can I get it to bring up the main applications menu?

The quickest way is to go:

SYSTEM->PREFERENCES->KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

scroll down to

DESKTOP

find the setting for "Show the panel's main menu"

Click the key combination to the right of the description. The text will change to "New Shortcut"

Press the super key (windows key).

It's done and now your windows (super) key will open the applications menu.

Hi,

I've recently wiped my 3.0 installation and have installed 4.0 beta instead. I've tried resetting the Super Key again however when I select 'New Shortcut' option the system doesn't register that I've pressed anything. Any suggestions?
