My eee 1000HE, eeebuntu NBR seems to do the opposite of the norm when plugging/unplugging it.
When I plug the AC in, it switches to Power Saver mode
When I pull out the AC plug, it switches to High performance mode
Ideally, I would like it to go to Power Saver when unplugged, and Super High Performance on plug in.
My ACPI settings file looks like this (this is the bit I found that looks relevant):
# Settings for CPU on Battery vs AC. These are triggers initiated by plug and unplug events. # There is normally no need to change them unless your Eee PC is not changing power options # when plugged in and then unplugged.
POWER_AC="00000050" POWER_BAT="00000051"
# Mode settings for Eee PC when plugged in or on battery. # MODE_AC = Plugged in # MODE_BAT = Unplugged
