If you notice that your Eee is running hot and not responding to fan control, then delete your /etc/default/eeepc-acpi.local and reboot.

If you still have the issue, add the following line to /etc/default/eeepc-acpi.local:

FAN_MODE="auto"

Reboot your Eee.

At this point if it still does not work, search the forum in-case it has been resolved on your model.

If none of the above resolves your issue, please post. Indicate that you have performed the appropriate steps above and an Eeebuntu team member will assist you when possible.
