 Post subject: [SOLVED] can someone understand this message?

Aurora version: Base 3.0
hi all

my eeepc tray is broken...it won't start...here is the output of when i launch it from the shell:

any idea of how to fix it? i've already tried to reinstall it...

Did you uninstall mono?

sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgtk2.0-cil libmono-addins-gui0.2-cil

thanks your code fixed all :D

i'm sure i haven't uninstalled mono...can it be uninstalled via the "remove orphaned packages" utility? is that possible?

and btw...can i use the gnome applet to control cpu scaling instead of eeepc tray?

The gnome applet only controls scaling, the eeepc-tray controls kernel parameters and a lot of other stuff behind the scenes that the applet isn't aware of.
