its due to a bug in the new mono system which will just cause the system to crash when rolled over; to stop this we've temporarily take it out until we can address the issue

Mi Español es malo, pero voy a intentar. El sistema se puede romper, por lo que se retirado hasta que se fija.

Si bien en la Wiki se ve que al colocar el puntero sobre el icono del eee-tray se ve que aparece información adicional respecto al estado del equipo, eso causaba algunos problemas (especialmente equipos congelados o trancados). Hubo un update que temporalmente deshabilitó esa funcionalidad hasta que el bug sea solucionado (asumo que para el fin de este mes cuando salgan las vesiones Standar y NBR).
I think I can solve your issue. Try installing an applet called computertemp (http://computertemp.berlios.de) form the Synaptic Package Manager. Add it to one of your panels. See the attached image.

Creo que el problema tiene esta solución: instalar con el Synaptic Package Manager un applet llamado computertemp (http://computertemp.berlios.de). Luego hay que agregarlo como cualquier otro applet a una barra de Gnome. Ver la imagen adjunta.
