Hello, there seems to be conflicting information between this forum & the StatUX wiki for Known ACPI Issues. There are two packages (asus-eee-dkms and eeepc-laptop-dkms), the wiki says install the former (if your FSB is not showing in /proc) while the forum (fewt, thanks for the tip!) says install the latter (to resolve issues with the silver 1a & 1b buttons). Do we need both, one or the other depending on hardware, or does eeepc-laptop-dkms supersede asus-eee-dkms?
I had already installed eeepc-laptop-dkms to fix 1a & 1b buttons. I then noticed my FSB reported "0 0 1" so I followed the instructions under "Incorrect FSB Reporting", which fixed that. It is listed to only impact 8.10, but this was under Eeebuntu 3 (which is based on 9.04?).
Can someone edit the step on the StatUX wiki for blacklisting asus_eee to show the file location to enter said information into? I figured it was /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist, but others may not. So far so good, FSB reports "100 50 1" now.

cheers,
Both of those kernel modules perform different functions. I've been meaning to update the article to talk about the eeepc-laptop module but haven't had time.
Anonymous editing should be enabled for all of the EeePC ACPI pages, so anyone can correct anything.
