Hi folks, here's a weird problem... can't see skype videos from other people. They can see me, I can hear them, just can't see them... skype video assumes proper size on my screen, just doesn't play. FInd similar when I go into skype settings and choose the webcam test... doesn't work.

Any ideas what I could test? I'm using eeebuntu 3.0 on my 901 with Siege's video fix, and .30 kernel. Videos work fine, and everything else is very fast. Turning off compiz doesn't help. Cheers!

same problem with skype.

firstly i could show my video for recipient, which hadnt webcam.... then he plug it and now i can see his picture, bat cant to switch ON my during a call .... ((

in the options i see worked webcam ((

nothing changed nowhere - only plug in camera on another side

will try last beta from skype.com

Let us know what happens, still no fix at this end.

How do I register for skype without downloading it? I have an account on skype,and i use it regulary.But my daughter has recently got skype and wants her own account.but on the skype website apparently i have to download it to make a new account,but i allready have downloaded skype.
