I put Eeebuntu on my sisters Eee, and I have no idea what she did, but the wireless has been working and now it's not. It was working for months, and she says she didn't do anything, indeed I saw her using the wireless just hours ago. lsmod shows the module as rt2860sta. I tried booting to older kernels listed in grub and there's no difference. Ethernet works when it's connected, but networks don't even show up in networkmanager. iwconfig shows nothing, and ifconfig is only showing eth0 and the loopback device.
The model is an 1000HE. I don't know what to do, help!

OK nevermind, apparently it had something to do with her turning off wifi when she had dual booted into windows, and this causing some sort of problems on the linux side when she rebooted without turning it back on. At least, that's my best guess. I couldn't get it to come back on when I noticed it was off in windows yet clearly turned on in linux, yet somehow, when I rebooted into linux, it's now on. I have no idea if it's working in windows now or not, but I don't give a damn about windows anyway
