Latest updates, through update manager, including libmagickcore1 and libmajickwand1, when I go to install these "important security updates", I am given the info on these packages that they cannot be verified and may harm my system....what's up???

Can you please put this in FAQ or someplace like that. Eventhough I have been using linux for > 10 years it took me like 2 days to find this post.

The last time I updated a kernel my wifi stopped working. Thanks, but I'll stick with the one I got with the release.

I just noticed I still have lots of kernel images available for me to use. Doing uname -s -v I get:
Linux 2.6.29-1-netbook

so, can I use synaptic to remove all the others? It'd save me some ssd space.

I guess a better question is "How can I safely experiment with removing stuff?"

WTF!!!!! I cant update or download anything. I cant view anything on youtube and I cant install adobe flash.
