I Want to create a desktop icon to go online with Firefox for my girlfriend who finds this easy, or well, finds it to be the only way she can get online as looking under programs in WIndows is too tough for her, and looking on a Windows taskbar is too hard for her. I am serious. I catch the flack if her CHEESE is moved even the slightest iota.

I prowled around and i have not discovered how to get a program shortcut on to the desktop. I have yet to find a list of programs that include Firefox. I can keep looking. I am clueless right now.

Right click on the desktop, select Create Launcher...

In Name, put Firefox. In Command, put firefox (note capitalization). In comment, feel free to write a comment like Start Firefox web browser.

That's it.
