I like eeebuntu but I cannot stand the old fashioned mouse pointers. Can I change them to the default ubuntu one (or something similar-open to attractive alternatives!) and then remove the default ones?

I feel the same about the loading screen too (preferring the default Ubuntu one) but I can live with that more than the pointers!

Thanks in advance. :D

You can change your mouse-pointer via System > Control Center. In the group "Look and Feel" click Appearance. In the new window click on Customize in the Theme-tab. A new window will open containing a tab "Pointer" - there you can choose between four different pointers. You might prefer one of these.

Hope that helps.

Looking to do the same - change the mouse pointer. I like the default black one, but it's just too small. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the size of the default pointer, only the other three pointers (which are not black, and I'd prefer a black pointer).

Any way around this, perhaps by installing additional theme elements?
