eeePC model: 701SD
Aurora version: Base 2.0
I have a new (Nov09) EeePc 701SD - 8GB SSD - 2GB Ram.
I am new to Linux.
I like the ease of use and speed of the original Xandros setup (full desktop mode) and aim to keep it until I learn more about Linux and EeeBuntu.
I have just set up EeeBuntu 2.0 Base (no updates - 242 available + '9.04' available!) on a 4GB SDHD (Class 6). I used 2.0 Base because I could not get the downloaded 3.0 Base ISO to work.
I have a problem with my display in that most text is fuzzy/blurred (with a slight white halo around letters/words!!). This is evident both on the Eee's screen and on an external LCD monitor (1024 x 768).
Can anyone point me in the right direction to correct this (in newbie terms), please.
