hay Guys,
THANKS SO MUCH! you'll be glad to hear we won the SF choice awards thanks to your votes! A great milestone when you consider Eeebuntu 1.0 was released last August. We are doing alot of work behind the scenes at the moment to bring eeebuntu into its own so this is a really positive reaction from you guys in the community!
Any sites with news of this please post here and on any blog to help spread the news about eeebuntu!

I can only agree, this got to be one of the best performed projects since long and with a very complete product already.
I ran it off the ISO on my HP, by the way. It did it all, from the start, connected wifi and all, not a glitch. For a brief moment I considered installing it there, but sadly I need to have the old XP in place somewhere.

After making a huge mistake with Windows XP on my Eee 701, I had to completely remove it. Fortunately, I found Eeebuntu 3.01 NBR soon afterwards. It's an excellent OS as it is already, but for free, on top of that, it's absolutely fantastic. Without it, I probably would have had to decommission my faithful Eee 701 due to cost-benefit calculation. Eeebuntu has given my Eee 701 a new breath of life. As a matter of fact, the Eee 701 with Eeebuntu OS is my most used private computer. In my view, Eeebuntu most certainly deserves the awards it has received.
