Post install of nb-remix on a 4G, everything works as expected, 701 scripts worked fine. ran into the keyring issue but resolved ok. However, the icons on the 'launcher' are tiny. See screen shot at

How do I fix it?

Apparently there is an issue with the UME-Launcher running on devices with a resolution < 1024x600 (meaning the 701).

There is a launchpad bug for it:

BUT

there is a solution, although I have not tested it reports are that it works.

Download and install:

If you could feed back any success (I don't have my 701 at the moment, it's been stolen by my daughter) I'll get it in the next ISO (script as install in the 701 post install scripts).

The quoted site (pof.eslack.org) was down so I googled for alternates. At
http://ppa.launchpad.net/netbook-remix- ... -launcher/ I found two versions thus

ume-launcher_0.3ubuntu3_i386.deb
ume-launcher_0.3ubuntu5_i386.deb

Tried the first but no changed. The second fixed the issue but perhaps the icons are now slightly too large in that the icon text in upper rows is obscured by icons below. I can live with it for the moment.
