I have been searching up and down for answers but i just cant seam to figure this out. I have an eee 1000HA. I bought it with windows installed, and set up eeebuntu 2.0 standard to dual boot. It boots fine, and everything runs well, except i cant connect wirelessly. I am at college, and it is a WPA connection. When i try to connect it says attempting to connect to "connection name" and then eventually just disconnects. Can anybody shed any light on this subject?

Are you sure you're connecting to the right network ?? Is the signal strength strong enough ?? Can any other device you have connect to the network ?? I like to use my ipod touch as an alternate test.

I think it has something to do with the hidden ssid..
Then try broadcasting your ssid and see if you have the same problems. That will clear that question up.
